- placed candles often wouldn't stay lit, despite having ample fuel and space
- they barely cast any light (?!?!) and as someone else mentioned, the light source seems to be the glowy stuff around the items, rather than the flame
- also as previously described, the flame is far too red and does not match the colour of fire from vanilla items
I am deeply disappointed! The items are well-crafted and look like they belong in the world, but their functionality is garbage. Furthermore, this mod crashed my game, and beeswax was never craftable anyway; I had to spawn it in.
This mod has beautiful artwork, but that's about the extent of its quality, sadly. I would pay money for a version of this that works as it should!
I've been trying to get this mod to work and have installed the thunderstore package you suggested. Is it still not working at this point or do I need both the old mod and the new thunderstore version?
Hey there, nice content but sadly, we hardly use these items (even though we want to!) due to the following:
1) There appears to be a very misty colored area around all items
2) The glow's range is too short, and the wrong color; it's now red but should be "flame" color like the already existing torches. Now it conflicts and glitches in areas where both traditional torches and lanterns are present. Plus it just really looks weird right now.
3) All glass objects appear to have blackened/tinted glass. It really looks like the light source isn't a light source at all, it seems as though the light comes from the glowy bit (See: #1)
yeah, where do i put this in at? id like to be able to go back to building my lanterns on my dedicated server where i cannot just console spawn things at will
this is the recipe config section in the DLL I dont know if it's possible to fix this with a mod to edit recipes like: https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/1245 but maybe?
any chance you could fix the bugs that cause the lamps to go out if they are attached to the wrong thing? Its been an issue from the beginning with this mod
For some reason, the wall mounted skull candles I put up in my castle will not demolish. When I try to dismantle them they wall portion goes away and I'm left with a "skeleton candle" that is floating near the wall. They seem completely indestructible. Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
