The mods name will NOT be changed simply because you have managed to some how find a way to take a game mod as an "offense" If you have any serious suggestions regarding performance/bugs, or improvements/additions that could be made do feel free to get in touch. However from this point i will not be responding to anything regarding naming.
"this mod's name is a slur, so i dont feel comfortable sharing it" is criticism, and "could you change it to something that is not a slur" is a valid suggestion. you gracefully accept neither. "this mod's name is a slur that is hurtful to an entire group of people no matter how many commenters totally know a roma person who LOVES the slur" is a problem that is possible to solve.

the naming of a mod has no impact on the performance or any else to do with the mod itself - i am more than open to suggestions but not the same one repeatedly regarding the name.
What is wrong with you? People have correctly pointed out that the name of your mod contains a slur, and instead of doing the right thing and changing it, you double down and refuse to entertain the notion that your are being problematic? That's a real bigot move, dude. Shame on you.
'Shame on you' Each and every day I feel these things are just virtue signalling urges to point fingers, rather than actually doing smth about the countless other mods which have way worse content/names. Given that it has several definitions and uses depending on both context and whether it is 'gypsy' or 'gypsies' I don't see why you have to solely say that this mod author is using it as a slur. It's not as if this word was used solely as a slur either, like other words such as the n-word.
The only issue I have with the mod's name is the fact that it doesn't reflect what the mod actually does. I'd been searching for a campsite mod for Valheim for some time but could not find one at all until I came across this mod while just looking for mods that add new building pieces in general, all due to how terrible NexusMods' search feature is. If you aren't gonna change out the name, then perhaps at least add key words to it like "Camp" or "Campsite" so it's easier to look for on Nexusmods? I'm certain that most people looking for a campsite mod aren't using the term "gypsy" when doing so.
I just installed and enabled this mod using vortex. When I am in-game looking at my workbench crafting menu I do not see the camping kit. Do I need to do something I'm not in order to use the mod? BTW I thanks for making this mod. No problems with the name. It's descriptive.
Gypsy is not a slur, it's an accurate descriptive word. Pikey is a slur, learn the difference. Also, learn what a bigot is, that is a person who is intolerant of another persons view (hmmmm, just what you are doing eh?). Good grief. I don't consider "gypsy" is a slur and I have Roma grandparents. There are plenty of not very nice names for those that don't conform to societal rules of residence but this is not one of them.
As of 7-24-2024 All creators that made tents or sleeping bags have yet to update to Jotunn they are using the old JotunnLib which no longer works. The report reads in red "missing dependencies."
Just wanted to share my appreciation for your work on this mod. It's fantastic! I did want to leave a comment inquiry as to why I may be having issues with the textures of the Large Tent. All others work flawlessly; but the large tent has a dark semi transparent appearance too it that renders it impractical to use.

I have it downloaded but I'm not seeing the ability to craft the Camp at a work bench...
Am I just doing something wrong or is it just not compatible?

Hi, i saw the pictures and the mod looks awesome but for some reason i cannot craft the tent on workbench neither whit the hammer...it s because h&h expansion or could be some conflicts whit other mods?
