if you guys want to use this mod on the latest version of the game. Download the dll and open it with dnspy. Then in dnspy, add references ==> pick all the dll files from your game folder.
i see the references in DnSpy, "ValhiemMod_AnimalsOnMapClass @02000002" then it has each entity but im unsure as to where i should be pulling the data from, IN the vanilla files
I KNOW this mod isn't working, but I have a question for those that used it when it was: Was this mod smart enough to remove a pin if you killed every creature in the area that it pinned? Just curious. I've put this on my watch-list regardless, but I want to know if I have to go back in and remove pins if they are no longer valid. Thanks.
This mod is almost a YEAR old and doesn't work with the latest version of Valheim (v0.207.20 at time of writing this). Every time it tries to show an animal on the map, Unity logs an error "MissingMethodException: Minimap.AddPin()". In other words, this mod is now broken because it's trying to call game code that no longer exists. Probably something daft like the devs have simply changed the method name from AddPin to say CreatePin.
Until this mod is updated, I can only suggest using the Track Everything mod instead, which IS up-to-date for latest Valheim. It doesn't show animals on the map, but displays messages indicating direction and distance to the nearest one. Better than nothing.
I Really LOVE this Mod.. H&H has shut it down.. Please please Update.. Such a Great asset to Have! I had it loaded and configured, it runs... in game with H&H However in Game.. Nothing, appears on the Map..?? But according to BepinX, it loaded successfully.. I SUPER MISS this Mod!!

Then recompile the dll and you can use it !
