Thank you guys so much for the support. Some of you have sent in donations and I'm not sure how to thank you so if you see this, I appreciate it a lot! I'm glad you guys are getting a good use out of my stuff. I have some really awesome mods being worked on right now!
heh yeah 1 or 2 more scale up options would be great and also if possible have it remember or save so next time u open it it will stay on the scaled up setting.
many thanks for making and sharing this awesome mod with us :)
YES this is whati needed! ty sooo much. One suggesiton. - Please if possible, create a method to disable events. I have some friends new to the game and dont want their bases being raided by bats and stuff simply because we killed a boss.
Suggestion/Clarity: macs0420 is still displayed as contact in the GUI menu. Not sure he still wants to be bugged since you're now the maintainer. CHeers and ty soooooo much!
Hey everyone! Macs has decided to move on to other things in life and will no longer actively support / update QoL. Fortunately for us he allowed me to become QoL's maintainer, so you can expect new updates coming in again.
First of all, I want to give a big thank you to Macs for creating this mod in the first place!
Secondly, if you have any questions / feature requests etc, please do so! I'll do my best to keep an eye on this page as much as possible.
Lastly, there's a few things I'd like to clear up about QoL:
QoL is meant for single player use and / or servers where you're an Admin or have permission to use QoL
QoL does NOT and NEVER WILL attempt to circumvent cheat detections! It's made to help you play the game the way you want. Not to help you ruin the fun of others!
QoL will never include features that are of no use on single player games. This means that we won't implement features like bypassing Wards, PVP settings on other players, etc. The only exception might be features that can help other players. Like healing them, giving guardian powers etc
I wanted to let all of you know that QOL is End of Life. The latest engine update made it too much of a hassle to try and fix the menu issues. The code was quite old and rather obsolete. It just wasn't worth it.
That said, it doesn't mean that all is lost. I've decided to start from scratch and create a new mod capable of the same and more as QOL was able to. The beta versions of this mod can already be found on my Discord:https://discord.gg/sDyAKpXRS6
Of course, you can wait for me to come with the full release on both Nexus and Thunderstore. That's completely up to you.
Good morning sir, I wanted to ask you if you will ever make the mod for the Ashlands version??? Grateful for everything you have given us, and grateful for your response.
Mod is working for me with Ashlands update, I think it started working when I got the latest version of devcommands mod installed also. The F3 menu shows and options that I have selected worked, have not tried them all!!!!
Unfortunately it didn't seem to work. Like the other individual I just get a small grey box in the upper left corner of the screen and I don't know how to fix or expand (if it is just a ridiculously reduced window) the box. Thank you for trying though. Any other advice?
Also not working for me. I can use the quick-commands with the function keys, but when I pull up the menu there's nothing to see or interact with. Mod configuration manager is working just fine.
I'v tried adding custom items through the in-game custom tab, and it doesn't seem to be adding them to any of the spawn lists? Does anyone know how to do this? or does anyone know of a mod that just gives access to the true Devcommands via console? I'm playing on a locally hosted server with 1 friend of mine
I used the edit config file through Thunderstore (the mod mgr I use). Where the section is for "Add custom items here", I entered in the ones I wanted based on the example provided ... 'Item Name 1:Item Internal ID 1','Item Name 2:Items Internal ID 2' The item name will be what appears in the custom section of the mod and the internal ID is the spawn code/name within Valheim.
Hey all, I just wanted to make a comment for anyone having issues with not being able to die as a player and FPS tanking when health reaches 0. You could just spam H to refill health instantly but then you are just practically immortal and that isnt fun if youre playing with friends. But by downloading the Death Tweaks mod, i can confirm I am able to die properly and the rest of the mod menu works as intended. I hope this helps someone out there https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/1068?tab=description
I tested the death tweaks mod but the respawn is messed up. You spawn in the last location where the game saved. I used a console command to reset my location (so I don't show up in the Plains) and testing has me respawning in the beginning spawn circle for sacrifices no matter where my bed is. That's better than the FPS issue I guess.
These are nice mods and I'm sure they were hard to create and maintain. I hope the devs know we appreciate their efforts and patiently wait for updates (hopefully?) :)
