Nice work cheers, was just wondering how did you do this? Have prefrab building dolemans/ cairns would be cool

I have devcommands and debugmode both on, "b" turns off needing to provide my own stone and stuff, god and ghost to prevent interruptions and "z" to hover where I want to without building ramps. I make use of TERRAINTOOLS here on NexusMods to fix mistakes and also the edges of my dig. I have learned as a result of this to use the pickaxe somewhere nearby so I can see the alignment of the dig and line up my build around that orientation. It just makes it easier to dig and place items in the long run. The resetterrain command from the terraintools mod above fixes everything without having to start over somewhere else. This is a precise build that is impossible to master first try. I do a lot of trial and error.

I also make healthy use of what I call "keystones" or alignment pieces. If I set them up carefully a few pieces away, I can use them to align my placement without being restricted to snapping exactly with an existing placement (it also allowed me to place things "inside" the cave entrance and other terrain by snapping to an adjacent piece). So I place a piece where I want it, rotating myself properly then drop it. Add a few pieces to create distance then delete the added pieces and place the next permanent piece. If I can't put it where I want initially (like inside the cave entrance line), I place one further away THEN work my way into placing where I want it. If it snaps into the wrong position I remove my first placement (not the keystone that is distant), place the new piece, add a few in another direction for alignment reference, delete the pieces between then use the first keystone to add back the between pieces until I have the original placement back, then delete the pieces between. Stubbornly, you could use the same technique to build vertically alongside ramps to get height but "z" to fly saves SO much time.

The result is free alignment without just using the ValheimPlus mod for free rotation and placement options. I'm stubborn and want to be able to say I was able to do it all myself. The alignment I mean. It's a skill I learned from playing Fallout76 for so long. I was able to do some cool builds in that game too using this technique.

Edited for grammar and spelling errors.

Cool idea! I'm going to give this one a try :-)
