Been looking for something like this! I second the durability comment. Any plans for bows? Like a crafting station that allows you to re-string a bow that will cause it to release arrows with more power for a time?
Love the idea too! If you implement this, don't forget to think about what happens when you repair an item that has been sharpened.
Example:
-Iron sword has 200 durability: sharpened until 160 durability What happens if you repair it at 180, does it stay sharp? or does it need to be resharpened
I can't seem to get it to work. I've placed SpudsSharpness.dll into \BepInEx\plugins folder, I see "[Info : BepInEx] Loading [SpudsSharpness 1.0.2]" line in the log, but I don't see Sharpening Stone in my Build menu (under Crafting).
Mods I use:
While I wait for suggestions I will try on a "clean" installation, with V+ only.
That weird do you have all the required items in your inventory? Also could you try removing any mods that might interact with pieces like piecemovevand tell if that works Please let me know if find out what mod is causing thie
Cool stuff! Can you make the weapon boosts editable + the craft materials to build the Grind Stone? Like how much % + the effect gives and how long it lasts ? I would like to change the build requirements. Instead of copper -> Flamental to build it.
[suggestion] I was wondering about it a while ago: what if those crafting table/forge upgrades had actual usability. Would it fit your idea to implement the sharpening to the grinding wheel? I imagine if you would find it interesting to give the same love to the other upgrades:

-Iron sword has 200 durability;
-you sharpen it:
-the buff lasts until the sword reaches 160 durability (20% maybe make it configurable)
Other scenario:
-Iron sword has 160 durability;
-you sharpen it:
-the buff lasts until the sword reaches 128 durability.(again 20%)
I love the idea of this mod and it has what valheim is missing atm, but being time based just doesnt make alot of sense.

But cannot be recycled Have to wait for it to expire
It's great if you can go back and fill it up whenever you want.
