Bump. I'm playing on android version. If someone able to at least making mods for Trials of Mana compatible on android version, I'll even pay 20 bucks of my PayPal. No joking.
This game insanely amazing potential on mobile version. Sadly the developer didn't pay attention too much to it (considering how unprofitable premium games on mobile nowadays).
I've tested and the changes are undone when the mod is disabled, saving does not retain the costumes. Is there something that unlocks and then saves so the mod doesn't need to stay on because of the ??? seed problem?
edit Here's a workaround I've found that if I enable the mod, change costumes, then save and disable the mod, the next time I load the save file the appearance is saved over the listing for Default costume, so although I lose the ability to change the costume I don't lose the appearance. At least then the mod doesn't need to go on bein enabled.
The script you are referencing has no effect in cheat engine from the start of the game before the first class change. I'm level 6 currently. I only see the default costume for the current class and I've toggled the cheat numerous times.

Like... Extract the obb, put the mod file then re-archive the obb?
