i found that spamming the sword in a really specific way it actually brings out its full swing speed potential but it spams the same first swing animation. idk maybe theres a way to reduce the idle animation or some other cooldown?
and also if you can maybe figure out a way to make the alt fire of the sword into something useful? i think thatd really be a good change.
overall these changes do really help make the weapons feel a lot more impactful.
Thank you for your feedback! in the current build im working on the sword rate of fire has been reduced slightly so expect a new update on that sometime soon. i cant change the alt fire on the sword as im very limited in what im able to change without breaking anything
i looked over my mod and tried to find a solution, however i dont know what is causing this, so as of right now its unfixable. i apologize for inconvenience, also im not really as active in the trepang2 community/modding scene as i was once before, so i wont be updating this mod until i want to come back.
put around 10 hours into this mod so far, this is so fun and comfortable i love the better ammo economy on the pistols, dual-wielding the autos isn't as stressful anymore
the only problem i've had so far is miniguns are a little overtuned without the rev-up, enemies tend to apply a little too much pressure it also trivializes practically everything
i will look into the minigun balance tho i am trying to figure out proper balancing the minigun with the lack of Rev-up in mind i might heavily overhaul the miniguns recoil and spread if i want to keep the damage the same. but i for now dont know i will need to do more testing
Any chance you can make the penetrator closer the FEAR version? Maybe a 10 round mag, slow and steady auto fire? And the explosive variant firing one explosive projectile at a time, instead of 3? (bit of an overkill)
