Total War Three Kings Sandbox mode is required. It's a cheat that can revive or strengthen a dead hero I would appreciate it if you could upload the Sandbox mod.
Hello I know im late but I do not understand the instuctions. I put the .pack file in my data folder easy but the user.script.txt and txt file ??? what the heck is that? where should this be? I also dont understand the part about the directory and username? does this mean my xbox user name? please help I love messing around with stuff like this but im still really knew to modding and having a computer lol
P.s I am using the xbox version so if that is that maybe the issue? I read something about xbox arranging files differently.
Just installed your mod. I was confused why the number was 90 when i got no other mod conflicting with it, but it seems it was caused by the unit size setting, at ultra it changed to 120. Thanks for the mod!
Btw, this mod probably will also works for AI since the mod only work on the unit's basic data. I tried to make the unit to be exlusive to a certain faction, but it doesn't seem to work since it still appear on other factions (In a new game) though i can make the "no level requirement" only open to one faction and the others still need to reach emperor rank. Well, maybe, I only have a little bit knowledge on modding
1- Put the .pack file into the data folder in your 3k installation directory.
2- Open a file named "user.script.txt" (if it doesn't exist then please create a txt file with name like that) in this directory: C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\ThreeKingdoms\scripts
Using the instructions you gave me, I mostly got it working. I got the extended range for the units but I did not get the increased unit size. Any suggestions?
Hi, maybe it's conflicted with other mod which may modified the unit size. Can you double check if you installed any other mod which change unit sizes?
So I want to use this, but I'm entirely confused as to how to do what you're asking. I have the game downloaded with Steam, so I don't have the directory you suggested putting it in. Do I make a "user.script.txt" file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War THREE KINGDOMS" directory? Or do I make a new file in the data file, and place it there? Because I don't have a scripts file.
If I'm being brain dead from working everyday the past week then please tell me haha.
Sorry to hear that, ok here the instruction: 1- Put the .pack file into the data folder in your 3k installation directory. (this should be where you install the game in your steam library etc)
2- Open a file named "user.script.txt" (if it doesn't exist then please create a txt file with name like that) in this directory: C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\ThreeKingdoms\scripts
Then add a line: mod "Super_DoE.pack";
(for this part, because the game doesn't support mod manager yet so we cannot choose how to load the mod in game launcher). For this thing, after installing the game, please follow the instruction above. the script.txt file will go to the script folder in C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\ThreeKingdoms\scripts, not the game installation directory :D)
