Ah sorry, I have to ask. This mod wouldn't be consider after the next game update right? (I don't know the detail of how some mod become marked with outdated, sorry.)
ignore the outdated error. this mod is up to date up until the very last update for TWR2. you can Use Mod Manager 2.0 to use this mod without any issues, and i suggest not updating the mod manager, as there are issues with the newer version that might cause what you are describing.
also enjoy the new version, now with Naval Units ;)
Greetings, which happened with the bodyguards of the generals who reformed as you completed the investigations. The Amazon units in general who were in the Pontus faction. I think they were called Daughters of Hypolita or Penthesilea more or less something like that and they were good units, there will be no more updates and if you can add these units again, only in Pontus?
Was curious if you planned on allowing these units as general units for factions like Sparta and Rome? Also, any plans for the ones for Greeks and Romans to have some form of shieldwall? Great job though, need more mods like this :)
well i'm glad you're enjoying the mod. the units given to Romans and Hellenic factions, do not match the criteria of using Shield Wall both based on their equipment and their physicality. for that reason they are going to stay as they have been released. the new version however, allow you to use some of them as naval units as well. Enjoy ;)
i did not post this mod to steam yet and this is my own original mod. anybody else who might have posted this on Steam is probably stealing it as i did not allow this mod to be posted anywhere else.
as for posting it on steam, i'm not sure if i would as the engagement from the community is too little. so i would like to keep it a nexus original. enjoy !
The 1 I said on steam was at least over 2 years old so I dont think its stolen, but all of the author mods suddenly disappeared (probably this month because I still used it on the sept). The reason I asked you because I saw the name of the units and which factions can recruit them are the same so I thought you and the author on steam have some connect. But if you said this is your original mod and dont know about the 1 on steam then I guess Im out of luck.
i know. i have been playing with some steam mods that add female units myself, but none of them were as balanced as i wanted them to be, so i made my own. this is my own original mod that i have created while i was working on a bigger project that i have also uploaded here in Nexus. but i took inspiration from a couple of mods from steam that i used to play with myself in the creation of this mod.
as for finding them, i didn't really know any of them or had communications with them. so i can't help you there. but if you have any requests, or there is something you can't find in this mod, maybe you can give me new ideas to work with and maybe create a brand new mod for TWR2. the community had been receiving twr2 mods poorly which is why i stopped creating mods for it after my big mod that i uploaded here (legends of the ancient world). in any case, i hope you enjoy this mod ;)
it's literally in the title of the second one. "stronger women", i have raised the stats of female units compared to the original one. i don't personally like it that way because it is unrealistic for female units to be as strong as their male counterparts. but since some people still like a more mythological aspect of the game and the mods that come for it, i have created a stronger version for them.
Gratz for this mod m8, brilliant. I tested it quite a bit and works nicely.
There is only 1 minor issue I found and I am hoping you could help me address it. The new units seems to ignore the buffs from army embedded agents. Any idea what might cause it and how to fix it?
thanks for the feedback. i have tested these units in game myself, and they indeed do receive all of the buffs from armies, generals and agents that are inside an army. they also receive the upgrades to their armory just like any other unit.
also since all the units in this pack are created in the exact image of the vanilla units, there cannot be any differences between them and vanilla units. enjoy ;)
