   For some reason her horsetail hair is separated from her head for me.

      It's separated a little, and not very noticeable.
      unfortunately, this is the best I can do.
      
      Or is it completely separated for you?

      It is as you say separated a little and not very noticeable when standing. But on ducking it becomes more prominent. But I get it, still thanks for this awesome mod and all your hard work !

   Amazing work I would include some Photo mode images into the mix if I were you, to make it more obvious what this mod does.
