Hi Dragononandon, in your path to the perfection, have you ever considered fix the mistaken portrait from the Neptune or Poseidón's chamber? In the game actually is Odin the figure showed
Any particular example of Poseidon you're looking for? I was thinking of finding an image of Poseidon himself from history but I'm not sure which ones would be accurate.
EDIT: Done it quite quickly. It's not the best texture but here you go Odin to Poseidon
Ironically, this sign is more instructive than the vanilla one. Never mind the fact that an ancient Greek tomb has Roman numerals, the quantity of gold bars doesn't mean jack if the player cannot figure out how to acquire them. At least your version subtly references both the lead bars and Midas' hand.
TBH back then, without guides, the giant label on the wall was the bare minimum we needed to get it... Later games got more subtle at the cost of getting people stuck for weeks... Remember Last Revelation? My fav game, but half of its puzzles makes no sense. Crowbar, pipe, binoculars?
Anyway, it's nice to see people modding levels, it's something that was not really accessible before remasters.
Oh I'd have definitely had problems as a dopey child but at least this one wasn't ridiculous like the rubber duck and key puzzle in The Longest Journey.
It's just the look of this particular wall I was never fond of. I don't know, it's just the funny angle the gold bar sits at that just looks odd to me. It's like someone googled gold bar clip art and stuck it on the wall.
Oh I agree that the texture, especially in remaster, is weird... I need to play TLJ it's been sitting in my backlog far too long... But the moon logicest of all TR puzzles was using a specific wreck for a specific pipe to combine with a random can and be pixel perfect to add it to bike... all across multiple stages.
But I was also stuck a lot in Nevada with really hard to see paths, it's WORSE in remaster, somehow. Buttons, keyholes and even openings just blend together.
