Basically, did you already have a POSE.TXT in your installation, did it ask for overwrite? If not you need to get the patch or if you're not on Steam wait for the patch to come.
Beyond depressing that the actual developers couldn't deliver this. Such a God tier remaster but the lack of QOL and fun things being underwhelming is frustrating. Why not give us some fun in-game unlockables that would also add replayability instead of 9 trillion achievements? Baffling how clueless they are.
Keeping the pose would be much harder. Once the photo mode is off, the engine starts animating Lara again. One would have to find a way to disable the animation system.
A good workaround would be for the game itself to allow fast forward or replays in photo mode. I know all WWE games have replays of up to 30 seconds in their photo mode, and I remember some KOEI game had frame by frame advance, but that's not something modders can do, it's on devs.
