It would work regardless. But this one was made particulary for the 2013 version of the game. There are not so many changes in Definitive that would affect this preset's effects
DLAA works best for me @ 1440p resolution and when using DSR to 4k, maybe it adds some slight blurriness but I haven't seen any. And in fact it looks better than SMAA or TAA shaders in this particular game.
Perfect ReShade, makes shadows more shadow like. Dark places are darker and light looks so much better, but still keeping the game original theme. 10/10. Thank you.
Was having some trouble setting this up originally until I realized that even though Steam listed this as running on DX9, it would constantly CTD if I set up Reshade with DX9 for it. I switched over to the DX10,11,12 option and finally got it to work!
You also have to point the "effect" and "texture" path to the respective folder in the "Setting" of Reshade GUI. and ofc you will need the texture and effect for Reshade
Happy New year and sorry for late response. The ini file itself work fine, sometimes you just have to fix Reshade paths in config for everything to work correctly. Also make sure you've installed latest Reshade version and have all shader packs selected (except Legacy)
Thanks for your input, however I usually tend to tweak shader settings and mix in some new ones for best results, that's why I recommend to install Reshade with all available shaders, as seen on Description page.

Note: Directionally_Localized_Anti_Aliasing_Plus effect adds blurness to every text.
