There's nothing stopping you from using a 4K video, you just won't see much difference in most cases. As for the cropping, I just did mine in Vegas Pro 17.

What program do you recommend for cropping the video aspect ratio ?

I love your mod. I've tried a bunch of videos and it looks great. I even included the Goku vs. Vegeta battle :D

Me too. GRID 2 was one of the first games I bought all the way back in 2012 when you could still buy it on Origin for some reason.

Check the encoding of your video. If your computer doesn't have codecs for the H.265 format, and you're using that, it won't appear. Also make sure it is an MP4 and not any other format and that you named the file the exact same as the default one that comes with the mod.
Also, just to make sure, the default video works fine right? That one is encoded to H.264 which is supported by default on Windows.

If this still doesn't work, try installing the basic version of the K-Lite Codec Pack: https://files2.codecguide.com/K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1880_Basic.exe

I fixed mine not showing up by just copying the grid2 file name to the video I want to replace it with.
