    Hi!

    Great mod!

I'm asking around to find out if anyone has figured out how to change/mod/swap the sound effects.

Have you been able to do this? If you know how, I would love a slightly detailed explanation of how it is done. :)

I've been looking into it. So far I'm able to extract the sounds using a quickbms script normally used for Mercenary Kings.

I'm still unfamiliar with pbn files and have only used quickbms for Doom 3 prior to this, and haven't yet been able to get anything to play back in-game or create a new pbn file.

Apologies, I was having one of them mornings.

I'm also hopeful for sound modding, I'm already collecting voice clips from the show to add in the future!

Thank you very much for the reply. I'm currently using the sound files you made and the game feels so much better. I understand that dealing with .pbn files seems to be a new thing with very little resources.

This is not a negative to your work but I did some next level brain work and figured I can swap some of the songs by renaming them. I don't really enjoy the TIT train theme or the Pirate theme. So I used some existing songs and moved them around a little. I also moved The Lost Archenemies to the Rat king level King of the Spill. Felt it fit the theme better.

Honestly, the original music just seems empty to me. It's made worse when there are no SFX going on, getting comboed where you spend a good amount of time getting hit by random attacks that send you all over the screen, and the missing SFX. The music on their own is fine.

Where or how did you get clean music files for TMNT4? Is there a place to also get the TMNT4 SFX files too?

I really do hope someone figures out how to change the SFX. I'm super happy this game has a modding scene. Thank you for your mod.

I used SPC700 Player for SPC file playback, and to isolate channels, change pitch, speed, etc, and exported the spc files from the game as audio, and did all the editing in Pro Tools. The spc files can be found wherever SNES spc files are found. I haven't looked into TiT sound effects so I'm not sure where you would find those, or in what sound format (probably PCM).

I plan to release an update today for the music, it's a subtle change, but I slightly boosted the 32Hz and 16kHz range, and slightly dynamically dipped around the 600Hz range to better fit with the higher fidelity sound effects. Nothing more than a few dB, and you would only really notice the change if comparing side by side.

nice, I needed this. Now all we need now is patiently await sound effect modding to go with this!

I customized a bit and put some tunes from the arcade TMNT1 and the game Crime Fighters, to go with these songs
