Imma be real, I came here to NOT have to deal with figuring out how to do save editing. Another user on steam made a save that has a billion gold and no modded SDUs so you can easily get the achievement: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3039936101
Hi KrokoSVK do you have Achievement Save for the other Borderlands? I Platinumed all of Borderlands on PS4 and I didn't want to do the entire process of Platinuming the franchise on PC
Hey. Happened to me few times in different games, solved it by copy/paste saves I wanted while the game was launched, and quit right after, thus new save file was uploaded to the cloud. Turning off steam sync never worked for me, but thats another option you can try. Also, dont forget to make copy of your own save files before re-writing them. Or maybe even create new character and re-write that one. Either way, this should solve your problem.
1. Disable Steam Cloud on the game from Steam 2. Download the save file 3. Go to your physical save file location (..\Documents\My Games\Tiny Tina's Wonderlands) 4. Backup your original save folder (To desktop will do) 5. From the downloaded save folder, find the file called '1.sav' (..\Tiny Tina's Wonderlands\Saved\SaveGames\76561198012687695), and simply replace just this one file with the one in your own save folder (..\Documents\My Games\Tiny Tina's Wonderlands\Saved\SaveGames\[Numbers])
After doing this it should work. After you are done, delete the borrowed '1.sav' file and put back your original '1.sav' from your backup. This technique has worked for me with all Borderlands games.
Side note, this save file appears to be a 100% progression save, as upon launching the game with this save, every other achievement I hadn't unlocked popped when I loaded in. Shame, I was sorta looking forward to playing the DLC, oh well.
Oh.. didnt know it will unlock all achievements, otherwise I would put that info into description (added now). On the other hand, playing DLC maps for achievements was.. anoying. Doing the same boss 4x just to raise difficulty level was lame. Anyway, thanks for letting me know all this :)
Thanks, worked fine. When checking with SaveEdit, the bank was on lvl 22, and save had enough money to buy the last upgrade. I wanted the achievement for a long time to get 100% completion. But when I found a handy spreadsheet to calculate money needed to do so, I wasn't even in quater of what I needed. After 80 hours of gameplay. And TTW isn't that good game I would like to spend another ~100 hours on. Díky, kolego 😉
for anyone whole downlaods it i just went to the dream veil overlook and spun the wheel and sold a all of it and then i had enough to buy the upgrade and the achievments popped. only thing is that there is a hidden achievemnt from the dlc. hopefully can be gotten and made on the new save. the achievemnt is called "off the hook" i dont have the dlc so i cant get it
I can confirm that this does not have the mule achievement. The bank is not fully upgraded and you can only get to 11/23 selling all the inventory and using the gold.
Ah. Thanks for your information. I think I know why it behaves like that, 11/23 bank upgrade - I used save editor to raise bank upgrade lvl to 22/23 (and unfortunatelly, bank lvl is the only one you can raise with save file editor). I guess save edit of the bank didnt translate into save itself somehow. Anyway, you can still achieve it by downloading save editor, raising bank lvl and then buying last upgrade. In any case, I will add better description.
hey, not sure if I did something wrong. the mule achievement isn't anywhere close enough to complete on the save file upon loading, even with selling all of the inventory. you did save me the hassle though of doing the final 2 of the dlcs over and over, I hate those achievements too.
Thats.. weird. I'm positive I took correct save from the pile, with gold and weapons in the inventory to get last upgrade. I can't really check it anymore, after finishing achievements I have deleted the game. Maybe we need to wait a bit what others have to say.
