On steam, clicking play, few seconds later game quits without the game even trying to load, with the mod installed. ie Play button goes from Play to Cancel to Stop back to Play button in about 7-8 seconds. So I'm guessing the mod is currently broken as of 17th January 2024 right now, Game loads fine with the mod not installed.
It took me a bit to confirm that version 0.5 works, but after enabling the DLSS Indicator via a registry edit, I now have confirmation.
There is still blurriness at distance due to the upscaling, even at Quality, but the performance bump is really nice. Also, the difference between DLSS and FSR is really noticeable when looking at vending machines. The hammer and arm swinging down is not blurry with DLSS like it is with FSR for example.
For the texture blurriness, that's because even with the game's native FSR2, Wonderlands doesn't set the proper LODbias setting for controlling how texture mipmaps are loaded based on resolution, it calculates based on the internal rendering resolution of the upscaler when it should be basing it on the output resolution.
You can fix this (somewhat) by using Nvidia Profile inspector and forcing a negative LOD bias for the game's profile. Ideally the game should do it, or perhaps there's an Unreal Engine 4 config that can change it, but using Nvidia Profile inspector is a decent brute-force fix.
Dead Space Remake is another game which has this oversight, same method in this video applies to Wonderlands.
WOW the difference this makes is astounding. The ghosting on the particle effects and hologram/neon like text was driving me insane and it's like 99.9% reduced now. if you reeeeally look for it you can still see some ghosting but It's unnoticeable with moment to moment game play. Also it seems to be working fine with the redux mod too
So many wrong information, the mod works and the game doesn't crash (just follow the simple instructions). BUT I'm getting lower performance overall, like -10 FPS and my GPU usage decreases as well (also getting same result with native FSR2). BUT I can confirm it works. With FSR2, there's weird ghosting on any floating damage text, but this mod doesn't have it due to DLSS. Anti-aliasing quality remains the same with DLSS which was disappointing. Tested with both 2.5.1 and 3.1.1 version

RTX should refer to nVidia RTX 30xx and 40xx GPUs, so I would think that non-RTX would mean any other card

Thanks for posting this mod!

edit: using older versions allows the game to run, but im not sure if dlss is on
edit 2: version .4 works and dlss loads.
