1. Drop mod folder to the root of the game folder "steamapps\common\The Thing Remastered\"
2. Navigate to the game's save folder, paste the following into file explorer: "%homepath%\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\The Thing"
3. Open "thingconfig.cfg"
4. Add the following to the bottom: "ResourceDir" = "Mods".
5. Your flashlight is now way too big, nice.
If you have another folder as your ResourceDir just put this mod in that folder.
Was just exploring the game files, pretty cool you can open the pak files in an archive explorer like old Quake games. I wanted to adjust the flashlight and got this result and thought it would be funny to share. There is no purpose for this mod other than because it's funny.
