Not Banned, I'm still here...Here's a new video showing me doing a fresh install of ReShade (The Same Way I Do Every Game) into the STEAM VERSION of The Surge 2 with the game's newest patch & renaming the dxgi.dll file that ReShade installs into the game's bin folder to d3d11. I even launch the game from it's .exe and open the ReShade menu in-game to show it's working.... https://youtu.be/xWGitRaMaTU.....Enjoy!
Works and looks great, I'm very pleased with this mod. Good work. If you want to, check this out, it's the playlist for my ongoing playthrough of the game, along with the DLC. Mind you, the commentary is in Polish. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVoMQsLizpq9IVk0cLtPDcIDzbxFEvbAV
GOT IT TO WORK. the original reshade was made with an older version. The current new version of Reshade supports vulkan. Do not change dxgi.dll. SELECT VULKAN durring install of reshade. boom. works.
So, I got it working. Your last preset doesn't seem to work though. Second works fine. Really wish there was a way to get rid of the EXCESSIVE blue in this second part of the game.
This mod doesn't work for anyone except the author (I just tried it as well, does not work), it should either be removed, or more accurate instructions to make it work should be given.
Hi, i don't know if this is useful information, but I was able to run Reshade with Vulkan with the latest build (Reshade 4.4.2.701) Unfortunately a crash occurs after few minutes, for lack of memory apparently : "TLSF allocator 'Vulkan' failed to allocate memory" And i don't know yet how to allocate more memory, i'm not really familiar with Vulkan...
