About this mod
A light optimal preset that removes the game's washed out filter, adds better color correction, bloom, sharpness, fxaa, smaa & gaussian blur to help fix some of the game's sharp edges. Depending on your rig, this preset may help fix some stuttering issues that are apparent on some machines. If you like my preset, please endorse it. Thank you!

This is just the .ini file, you will need the latest version of ReShade to use it. You can get it here: https://reshade.me .....
How To Install My File:
Extract it with 7Zip & place it in your The Surge 2 / bin folder where the game's .exe is located (D: or C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Surge 2\bin).
How To Install ReShade:
1.) Launch the ReShade Installer & select The Surge 2.exe (D: or C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Surge 2\bin)
2.) Select the game's API - it is DX10+
3.) ReShade will ask if you want to download any .fx files? Select all of them, then click okay to download & install them.
4.) ReShade should say Succeeded! You can now close the ReShade Installer.
IMPORTANT! When launching the game: if it fails to launch, Crashes To Desktop or your controller isn't working you will need to rename the dxgi file to d3d11. It is located in the same folder you installed my file & ReShade (D: or C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Surge 2\bin).
If renaming the file doesn't work you will then need to disable your Steam Overlay as it can conflict with the ReShade Overlay.
Once you have launched the game you will need to open the ReShade menu by pressing the Home (pos1) key on your keyboard, then press the drop-down arrow to open the drop-down menu & select my file from the list "TheSurge2_ReShade".
If you do not see my file in the list you will have to manually add it by pressing the + key next to the drop-down menu, then type in the full name of my file just like this: TheSurge2_ReShade.ini & press Enter.
To close the ReShade menu press the Home (pos1) key on your keyboard.
