I think half of these aren't achievable sadly... Transparency is not possible, the plumbob shaders doesn't allow it. You CAN use transparent shaders but they dont spin, instead, it will move with your character. The moviment is locked as circular to only one side, so aliens can't have the atom thingy. Plumbobs also can't have visual effects, so no blood droplets. The mermaid tail aas the first thing I tried and it looked off saddly, tried even fishes and dolphins but just nope
I would like to preface this by saying that I tried (and failed) to do this myself before asking :P
Would you maybe be willing to create custom plumbobs for Spinning Plumbobs Fairies vs Witches mod like you did for the Expanded Mermaids? I am really, really enjoying your plumbobs and those occult states seem a bit lackluster comparatively now.
Also wondered if you'd be willing to create a patch so your werewolf plumbob with the moon could be the Lycan plumbob for Spinning Plumbobs Werewolf mod? So EA werewolves would have the plumbob without the moon and the lycans would have the moon?
These have added so much to my gameplay and made playing occults more fun. Even if you aren't able to add anything else, thank you so much for what you shared with the community!
that... would take a long while for me to do... I mean, creating the design that a bit too long and I'm already making upscalled collectibles, a whole exploration portal thingy that I randomly had idea for it and others 34 things that I had started and haven't finished... I could do it but the list is already long.
I love the design for the plumbobs! specially the werewolves one, but the moon is kinda "too much" for me, it's posible to have a version for them without the moon? I would be greatly appreciated 🙏
I know it's not EA content so it might go beyond the scope of the mod, but do you think you could make replacements for the Sea Witch and Kelpie plumbobs in SpinningPlumbob's Expanded Mermaids mod? They're already in separate packages, so the resources should be easy to find.
Aww that's a shame, they have some pretty distinct looks from the mermaid 'bobs so I don't think they would fit very much. Maybe take a look at them and some idea might pop up
Sea witch I have no good idea, the best one would be blue and purple shells instead of natural ones. The kelpie could be a bunch of vines and barnacles that already are there, just with better position and no ring.
Hi! It says in the description that this mod can be used to remove plumbobs completely? How do I do that? I want to remove all plumbobs, both occult and human, is that possible?
My mod can remove the occult plumbob and use the human plumbob instead. There is easier ways to remove the plumbob by editing the "default.ini" file.
Here an old guide how to do it: https://simsvip.com/2014/09/21/the-sims-4-how-to-remove-plumbob/ There's some lines that was changed but it's basically it.
You can also copy the default.ini file to the "configoverride" folder in your documents so you don't have to update it every game update (if you do this, I also recommend to keep just the lines talking about the plumbob too, so you don't get possible issues later)

for the spellcaster you could do plumbob based on a potion shaped like a plumbob
for the mermaid you could do a plumbob surrounded by a tail
for aliens could be a mini plumbob surrounded by passing lights like stars
for the plant sim could be a terrarium plumbob shaped with vines hanging out
for vampires could be like a test tube with blood inside with a metal shell, with blood droplets falling down
for the normal plumbob could be a see through glowing plumbob
