This mod is great for making elevators, at least between 2 points on a lot with 4 floors and tall walls that made using stairs or a ladder difficult or time consuming to travel.
It looks like it will affrect the usage of magic broom from RoM if I placed too many of them in the lot. Sims get confused when they try to use broom to fly to distance location outside of the lot.
Yeah, it's mostly a "game issue", the portals create some weird routing, they kinda fuse the route between places and create things that never should exist in the nornal game so it have no idea what to do. It's probably why realm of magic gave us only 3 portals with no connection.
I recommend keeping it far from each other (I have only one for the living room, one in the second floor and one in the backyard) but it's really good to make basement entrances, just use a portal like a door to it and you have a cool hidden place or just a lot more space.
