This seems to work with everything except for researching workout tips. My sims don't ever touch the computer unless I tell them to do something otherwise, but they seem to be stuck on incessantly researching that one thing.
I haven't had that problem myself, but my Sim is also a programmer and does other things like hacking. So maybe that's why I haven't come across it. I'll check it out though and give you an update.
I checked the old version and workout tips is in there and set to "false" for autonomous. I'm not sure why yours isn't working. Try deleting your "localthumbcache.package" file in your documents/electronic arts/the sims 4 folder. You should always delete that file when adding/deleting mods.
I have uploaded a new version with the latest Sims 4 Studio and added "Interaction Tuning: computer_Browse_WatchSimTube" to the file. I know that has nothing to do with your current situation, but try the new file version; delete your "localthumbcache.package" and see if the problem persists.
Alright. I'll give that a shot. Thanks for looking into it!
Edit 4-13-20: I did what you suggested with deleting the cache, but it still didn't work. As soon as any of my sims have a certain amount of athletics levels they start trying to use the computer to research workout tips. It's only that one particular thing that they seem to home in on. None of the other potential research options they bother with.
