How To Use
Part 1: Using a Dualshock 4 with The Saboteur
Since I use Steam's controller mapping to make the DS4 act like a 360 controller, I have to load The Saboteur through Steam. If you own The Saboteur on Steam then congrats, you're already using Steam. If not, you can load any game through steam by going to Games at the top of the Steam client window and selecting Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library. From there, you can pick it from the list of programs or browse for it.
Steam's controller settings can be found in the Steam menu, under Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings.
Part 2: Using TexMod with Steam
- Download TexMod from ModDB here.
- Extract TexMod.exe to your installation folder for The Saboteur.
- Rename Saboteur.exe to !Saboteur.exe.
- Rename TexMod.exe to Saboteur.exe.
Part 3: Using TexMod with The Saboteur
- Download this mod. (Finally!)
- Extract the PS4 Icons.tpf file into your installation folder for The Saboteur.
- Launch The Saboteur through steam. The TexMod window will open with Package Mode selected by default. (The other two modes are for making mods, not running them.)
- Click the large folder icon under Target Application and pick the renamed !Saboteur.exe.
- Click the small folder icon under Select Packages and pick the PS4 Icons.tpf file.
- Click Run.
