      versions does not affect on compatibility
      just use it

      for your question:
      -yes you need reshade (it is the main software that runs my mod)
      -don't worry it"s very simple to use:
      
      How To Install Reshade Guide | Tutorial (youtube.com)
      
      -just download reshade and install 
      -when installing: select the game (LastOfUs.exe) then select all "unselected effects" during installation.
      -after installation's done:
      -extract the mod and copy it inside game folder
      -open game and press home button 
      -select the ini files (presets of mods) the you're done
