Note:

- With the Playable Tess mod, the game needs to be played in all action mode without Stealth, Apart from using Bow and Arrow.

- Melee, Stealth takedowns, and Grabbing enemies is not possible with the Tess model.

- TLOU has Skins choices in the Extras options, In there all the Skins for Joel will have Tess as the model apart from 1 model which has Joel.

- The default skin for the entire game is Tess only but whenever you're stuck in a mission where you aren't able to perform certain actions with Tess, there you can switch the Skin to Joel and clear that part of the mission, and return the skin back to Default after the next checkpoint which will return the model to Tess. (Joel only has a visible head and hands no Body in that skin).


- I have not faced any sort of Soft lock or where I'm unable to proceed with Tess, but if you are stuck then you can get easily progress with the above method.

****Game updates including patches will probably make the mod useless unless the mod gets an update.****


INSTALLATION:

1. Copy "PAK68.txt" & the "Bin" Folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Last of Us Part I\build\pc\main   (or wherever you have the game installed),

2. Rename your Original "PAK68.txt" to something like "BACKUP.txt" in case you want to revert)

3. Rename "BIN.psarc" to something like "BACKUP.psarc" so the game will read from the "Bin" Folder instead.


(Copy the original BIN.psarc & PAK68.txt to a different location as a Backup if you don't want to rename everything and just delete the original 2 files from the main folder)

To Uninstall, just rename the "Bin" folder to something else, and change "BACKUP.psarc" (or whatever you named it to) back to "Bin.psarc" Do the same with "BACKUP.txt" (or whatever you changed your original "Pak68.txt" to) and change it back to "Pak68.txt"
