I tried modding Tess backpack once and it worked right in gameplay, but, when they are packing their gear before going outside, the texture reverts back to default. It seems that there are some objects like backpacks or clothing that have some special animation that requires a quick model swap that uses a different texture.
The problem is that I can't find those type of texture on the files. In fact, at least with the tools we have now, it seems that it's not possible to acces every texture in the game. So, there are some things that can't be retextured.
So, I can do that, but keep in minf that it might be some moments in the game where this happens. Testing is required. And I only can retexture what I can find.
Well, if it's difficult, then it's okay if you can't do it. In the end, it should work without errors. I thought it would be as "easy" as with clothes.
But maybe you'll find a solution.
Yes, military and dark red would be okay. But what do you mean by military? Olive green or camouflage?
If you're having issues like missing meshes, textures or crashing when launching the game (which is normal at the moment with Fluffy Mod Manager mods for TLOU) you will have to unpack "sp-common.psarc" into "The Last of Us Part I\build\pc\main"with U4.PSARC.
