Sorry everyone but there seems to be an issue with the Centralized Control Area files. They are not working and I have no idea why. I nuked every mod I had installed. Verified the install, nothing was missing. The Story Mode files work fine and those govern the capacity for every map except for Centralized Control Area. I'm going to keep CCA's files up for now and keep investigating to see if I can find the issue.
UPDATE: All files should be working now. With the latest update, the devs changed how the capacity works. Previously, one file governed all but the Centralized Control Area capacity. Now, the main character file just seems to govern the Story Mode capacity and another file governs all the challenge maps. I didn't load into each one but I'm 99% sure that the Story Mode files will now only increase it for the story mode and Challenge Map one for all the challenges. I can say for sure that the Challenge Map files work on CCA and Testing Grounds.
I just tried the increase from 150 to 200 version and it reduced my carry capacity to 20. Looking into what governs the capacity in the vanilla files and comparing this mods changes I saw that the author put the value of 200 instead of 2000, I think the engine reads the last 0 as a decimal.
Hello and thank you for the mod. I just wanted to let you know that I have tried all of the versions in both mods and ~mods and my inventory is never higher than 200. I don't have any other mods that affect carrying capacity or stamina use.
There might be a quirk with the mod where you have to load a game that has interacted with one of the storage boxes or you have to interact with a storage box before it'll actually kick in. I have no idea why. I just tested all the Story Mode files. If I loaded into Testing Grounds. It was at 200 but if I loaded a save from the actual Story Mode, it was set at the mod's value and that was without interacting with the box so, I will assume that if you load a save where you have interacted with a box then saved it at some point, I guess the value is tied to that somehow. Unfortunately, the Centralized Control Area files don't seem to be working and I'm trying to figure out why that is right now. I don't recall the storage bug being here before in any of the files but I think someone mentioned it at some point.
Well, I just tested both types of files with LITERALLY nothing else installed. I nuked all the nexus mods. I unsubscribed to all the Steam Workshop mods and...still stuck at 200 in Centralized Control Area, which isn't correct by the way. CCA's vanilla is 250 and every other map and mode is 150. The Story Mode worked both when loading a save and starting a new game. The inventory was correct even at the very beginning as soon as you take control of Jodi. I checked CCA's pak file and it's set up correctly so they must have changed something that has to do with CCA's inventory capacity or something has just gone awry with the save files or something else and I have NO idea how to fix it. Sorry for this, I'm going to keep investigating.
Yep, VERY frustrating, especially in this instance when the original value I used was still there in the same place. They just decided to add a new value to a completely different file that governed the challenge maps. I had to look at so many files trying to find the damn thing but it's done and I'm happy now.
When I installed the mod it worked in story mode, but when I used the shortcut keys 1 and 2 to switch weapons or items the game gave an error and exited the screen in x5 and x10
hello mate, i installed the mod correctly for the story mode, putted the pak file in the ~mods folder, and then whenever i launch my game, and get into my save, if i check my weapon wheel and then close it, my game crashes and show me this (all the texts under) did i do something wrong ? i tried 150 to 200, x2, x5 and x10 but none of them worked.
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 1334] Failed to find function Change Hold Gamepad View Time in TKA_Controller_C /Game/Project/Maps/Level_1.Level_1:PersistentLevel.TKA_Controller_C_2147482050
It's not the mod. I just downloaded and installed the 150 to 200 and loaded into a story mode save and switched weapons several times and nothing and I use this version of the mod just in general and I've never had issues with it nor with testing the other versions. Now, at the top of your error message there, it says "LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 1334] Failed to find function Change Hold Gamepad View Time in TKA_Controller_C /Game/Project/Maps/Level_1.Level_1:PersistentLevel.TKA_Controller_C_2147482050" That's saying it can't find a particular function you're trying to do with a gamepad and I will assume you're doing it and the game doesn't know what to do and crashes. I've never used a gamepad with this game although I always have one plugged in and never had any issues. I just fired up the game and messed with the gamepad controls as well, including the weapon wheel, and no crash. That error message tells me you might have a mod installed that has changed the Level 1 map in someway to where it can't figure something out. The only mod I can think of that I've made that edits the Level 1 map file is the Shower Peepster one that widens the view when she's taking a shower. I installed that as well to see if that was the problem and it was not. Perhaps go through your mods and test them out one by one to see if it's some kind of conflict or just something the game doesn't like and if that doesn't work, you could verify your files in Steam. Maybe your install is just a bit wonky? This mod does edit Jodi's main file so it might be a conflict with another mod in that regard, as well.
it's the only mod i tried to install, i don't have any other one, and yeah it says gamepad for some reasons but i play with mouse and keyboard, so yeah i'm confused on what happened
Are you playing with a different version than the latest Steam one? That could be it. The file this edits is a main one that controls a lot of stuff so no doubt, it's been updated quite a bit. I've only tested these mods on the latest version so wouldn't know anything about previous ones although, i doubt it would work.
I just downloaded that specific file and tested it myself and it worked. Did you unpack the archive first? Does the file extension say .pak or .7z? If the latter then you need to unpack the file first. If you did that and it still isn't working then you might have a conflict with another mod. The Story Mode files use the main file for Jodi so it's possible you have a conflict somewhere if you're using a decent number of mods. If that's not the problem then I'm not sure, maybe your game is out of date or something?
