Looking to play some guild 2 with an old friend after being away from the game for a long time. What is the most stable for multiplayer? Original game, 0.95 megamod alone, 0.95 megamod with trade war politics, or Fajeth's new 0.1 reforged? We can play internet or LAN, whatever is most stable (which is more stable in your experience? I know LAN should be but some games it's not).
I know reforged is supposed to be a ground up rework, so maybe it's better for stability, but it's probably less tested because it hasn't been out as long. You mention this has good multiplayer stability so maybe this one is best. Any thoughts on what version is most stable would be very helpful!
Every version of the game would be fun, I just want to deal with as little crashing as possible.
Thanks for this so far it is working great, many amazing changes that are very helpful, most buildings have become much more profitable overall, the tavern however the smuggled booze is now no longer being consumed or sold would it be possible to remove the sales counter from it so it could function as before? it still makes plenty of profit from tips and the wenches but it fells odd having a bunch of grog and rum and no use for it
Hi! When I installed this my mouse started to flicker and the game got really laggy very fast. I have the mega modpack and followed the instructions when I installed it.
I have a similar problem. Disabled logging, splashscreens, win7 compatibility but it seems whenever I move my cursor it flickers and the game lags while I move the cursor. Not necessarily unplayable for me but it brings on the bog down sooner rather than later. I even have the problem while in the title menu screen. I have 16GB of RAM, the game is installed on an SSD and I have a GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core. Thanks! Cool mod otherwise. I really enjoy the automatic stocking of the store front.
I really like these changes but I find the mod a bit buggy:
- I bought a bakery and have placed biscuits and bread but have only sold 1 biscuit in 12 years. - Sometimes sims come and stand outside my shop, as if they intend to buy something, but never do. They end up standing there season after season as if they are stuck in a loop. - The cart returns to the same position it was at when I use the new cart function to buy from other shops or the market. This means if my cart is not by my shop when I issue the order then it will not remain outside my shop after depositing the purchased goods. This causes some odd behavior If I send my cart out to buy from more than 1 shop at the time or if I issue the buying order whenever my cart is out outside of my shop. - The new retail outlet post "trading routes" does not calculate correctly. It is saying I have spent over 4000 when I haven't even owned that much money. It seems to add any "attempts" at purchases I make, whether they are successful or not. -For some reason I cannot upgrade my character stats despite having xp. I click on the + symbol and the xp is deducted but my level doesnt increase.
Feature request: I would like to see the current prices when I am going to buy from another shop. Right now it only shows the available goods but no mention of price, so I have no way of knowing if it would be cheaper to buy from the market.
there is no installation information. Are you suppose to delete the scripts folder or over write. oh never mind its in the instructions are in the download.
Will sales through sales counter also take place in fishermen's huts because from what I know products from this building must be sold directly at the market, but after installing your mod I see that the sales counter is available in this building. The same question applies to the warehouse (a large building for shipbuilding), at first I was very pleased to see the possibility of adding products to the counter, but as it turned out no one buys the products in this building, which is a great pity considering that you could make it place for wholesale sales of almost everything we produce in the game.
An additional question is why did you give up the bargain bonus when selling from the counter? It seems that sales prices are much lower than in the Fajeth mod game.
