I also had some problems getting to work, but I believe overall I just did not set up the path correctly. You gotta open ReShade.ini, and set the paths from its default, to wherever you installed it.
When you're in-game, press Home, and then mess around with it. To enable any things, you'd have to actually enable specific effects individually (I think in the "Home" tab? Can't recall.) (Note: If you want to change the configuration of the shaders (I changed Curves, it was WAY too aggressive in its contrast), make sure you go from Performance mode, to Configuration mode. Its hard to miss in Settings. Just make sure to switch back to Performance.)
Anyway, The DOF effects are way too aggressive and hard to configure. Hard pass. The Ambientlight effect is really cool -- but it eats way too much frames (my poor GTX 1080..) Overall, using Clarity + Curves + FXAA.
This is a cute addon. It's worth to get this addon just for getting either Curves or Levels, the normal game really is too mild in its contrast. P.S: Confirmed that it works for the version in the Epic Store. Same .exe, overall, ya'll.
Makes the game look damn good. Original shading is straight up poop and doesn't feel at all like the first game. Whoever did this did a pretty good job.
Nice ReShade just got around to trying this game. Wonder if theres any chance you got a NieR Automata ReShade since that game has never really gotten any truly good ones far as I'm aware publicly.
Hey Thanks for your support! I'm here to upload ReShades for games that I like, and you're in luck. Nier Automata just happens to be one of those games. I'm about to drop another ReShade for another great game very soon, and then I'll see about Nier. I still have my old ReShade from back in the day, but I'll just make a fresh one instead to get a much better result. Give me about 1 week as I don't have the game installed at this time and I need to see it again with fresh eyes.
