You can disable DOF without a mod. Go to %AppData%\Local\TheCastingofFrankStone\Saved\Config\Windows Open Engine.ini Add this to the bottom and save it:
[SystemSettings] r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
If you want to remove motion blur add this after that last line: r.MotionBlur.Amount=0 r.MotionBlur.Max=0 r.MotionBlur.Scale=0 r.MotionBlurQuality=0 r.MotionBlurSeparable=0 r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0
For real. Was about to ask the same thing. I'm assuming it's like other simple UE game pak mods that just contain some engine config files and change certain parameters. But uploader should explain what he's changing.
Yeah all seems fine, although FSR3 frame gen option is bugged still at the moment. Seems like it crashes during cutscenes. :/ Other then this everything has been fine! Thanks man!!
I installed it, but still have many stutters. This game is unplayable. Just launched Hellblade 2 on Unreal 5 engine, and it works great without stutters.
From my testing of the demo, it eliminated most of the stuttering, but for the full game, this is something on a very deep game logic level that only the developers can fix. The mod should still help with micro stuttering, as it almost eliminated it for me, but anything major will still cause stuttering.
Just found this mod trying to find a solution or a fix for the performance problems. I just have to ask does it actually work? What does the mod do exactly or what does it change? I currently have an RTX 3080, i9-11900F, 32GB ram and the game is installed on an SSD and it is running poorly for me.

Is this mod still needed after the patch?
If yes, will it work with new patch? (I think the creator said yep to this)
