    Came back to the game after ages, updated the mod to 1.2, fixed modinfo files to pass the games new strict sanity check. This fixes the "an unexpected character was encountered" errors.

    Despite appearing as enabled in the game "mod" tab, the research doesn't appear during the game (and doesn't appear in the full tech tree either)

      It is not a research, but an engineering project. Projects do not unlock immediately in this game. Just keep playing, it should be rolled after your next project completes at some point.
      It also wont work unless you actually restarted the game. Changes in the games Mod Manager do not get implemented the moment you enable/disable them in the mod manager, but when the game is started the next time.

    I drop the mods into mod folder launched game and they dont show up under mods. Cant activate them becuase they are not there.

    Game updated to support localization files in mods. Also you need to increase the max implant slots.

    Mod not work if you complete research Cyber Implants and use those upgrade implants, each council only get max 7 implants. After you research Cyborging, your max implants is 8. This mod add 5 more but not add more of max implants slot (Adv Monitor Loyalty work because it a upgrade to Monitor Loyalty so it not count to your max implants.

      Also, Expert AI implants has +10 security due to  2 duplicate +5 security code.
