I agree with this i feel that in this game with an increase of difficulty there should be an increase to decrease ratio for both enemy and allied units alike.
easy mode could have 50% more unit rate for you and ally forces while legion loses 25%.
but in the difficulty normal, normal mode just keeps the vanilla style of units on map same goes with legion forces and other factions.
hard would reduce the amount of units you and your allies can use while giving legion a 25% up in enemy units.
then if there is a difficulty higher than hard give legion forces a huge increase of units of 50% increase while you and allied forces only keep the vanilla amount of units useable.
if theres anymore ideas like this in the future please keep in touch as its alright to have these difficulties but they don't mean much other than to alter how much resources you can use in game.
when it should be focused on how many units on either side can deploy on each map. (yes resources can be the same as more units but ulimately it doesn't change the fact that the legion units you fight don't decrease or increase meaning everytime you do a replay of the game legion will always throw the same amount of units at you.
Hi. Just wondering how you made these changes? Because I would love to have a mod that makes the damage 100% on both sides (equal for both player and I, like on realistic), on the easier difficulty settings, like Normal or Medium.
If you downloaded 1.0 (several hours ago) it was an upload error. I mixed up files for 2 of my mods. You actually downloaded files intended for Twice Health mod. Was Fixed.
If it's not working in latest files it is weird. Did you extract zip into the root of game Folder?
You should have several xml files in "Terminator Dark Fate - Defiance\basis\scripts\species\" folder.
Just checked - they cost 600 supply no matter the difficulty... I've put difficulty_modes.xml to \Terminator Dark Fate - Defiance\basis\scripts folder, is that correct? I guess I need the 1.02.941 beta update, which probably implements said difficulty_modes.xml file, my current game version (1.01.934) most likely doesn't know how to use it.
