Why not use the Texture Replacer mod instead of updating the Shared Asset files? It would allow compatibility with all other mods and would be, for the most part, update proof.
I think he is asking something I am trying to find information for, how are you editing the sharedassets files to make these changes? I only see the texturereplacer mod but no way to create edited textures of other things in the game as their own sharedasset files.
I am trying to learn how to do a full blown MTG mod but I don't have enough data for how to edit it personally, can you share how you did this?
I might make a second version thats brighter. I myself prefer a darker room look. If you have any suggestions let me know and ill look into making a second version with those ideas.
This crashes my game trying to load save. I've tested with all mods removed and its still the same. It always crashes at 16% during loading a save. (Maybe that will help diagnose)
I downloaded the game on another PC. Retrieved the vanilla "sharedassets1.assets" and transferred it over to my second PC that has the effected game with this mod. I then replaced the modded file with the vanilla "sharedassets1.assets" and my game loaded as normal with all my mods, saves, purchases, items etc.... intact.
Yes, reverting the replaced file back to original fixes any issues. It does not mess with the save file (Might tinker with the auto save) So easy to revert back to pre-crash, but no way to get the mod working
