This is easily one of the best mods for the game. Has to be up there with fast pack opening. Honestly this and fast pack opening should just be in the vanilla game for real.
One minor issue is that I can't seem to select the buttons this mod adds when using a controller. Using a mouse it works great, I can click any of the preconfigured buttons, but with a controller (in my case a steam controller) it's like the buttons can't accept focus.
I think I may know why, but I can't guarantee anything. I have an xbox controller... I can toy with it a little later today and see if I can get it working with that.
Awesome, thank you. When you play with it you should take a look at how the sliders work in the base game, and you'll quickly see why I am very interested in this mod :D.
This is absolutely one of the best convenience mods on Nexus; thank you! One question: What coordinates are needed to move the stacked boxes from left to right?
Would it be possible at all to be able to store empty boxed on both sides or even double the empty stored on the original side and then have like a full box output on the other?
There is a position adjuster for stored boxes in the configs. F1 by default to open the config menu in game, then you can play with the position for the stored box. I can look into also adding more boxes to the storage or possible making it configurable.
The exit from the workbench is basically just an ejection of the box though. I basically move it just enough to drop it on the floor. This returns the box back to the main games control so stockers will come grab it for refilling or to store on warehouse shelving assuming you have space for it. I can look at making the ejection area configurable though. I know.... they kind of just pile up at your feet currently.
Hey, can the workbench hold more empty boxes like 30 or make an item like a pallet for 100 flat boxes, if that can be done... or an auto add 10 empty boxes button?
I know nothing about modding TCG, please forgive my ignorance.
The mod is great and think my suggestion would be a good addition if it's not difficult to do. If it is bothersome to do, i can just move the bench to the empty box/mod menu mod spawn point. It will just look stupid. lol
I also forgot to add, I use a controller and can not store empty boxes in the workbench. I press A on the pad, nothing happens. I press LMB, it works. Maybe a bug, not config with controller in mind, conflicted with other mods (I use a lot) or whatever. Just thought to mention it.
I will look into the controller thing. I am not 100% sure on that as I made the mod with only keyboard/mouse in mind. It is probably something that will be easily fixable. I'm gonna jot this as well at the more empties down on my TODO list.
yeah not it freeze your mod after 50.2, the only way to reset is complete close the game. thats what i found, take your time, no rush. your mod saved alot of time.
I am not able to replicate any game freeze. Can you join the discord that is linked in the description? It'll be easier for me to be able to ask questions and get to the cause of the issue faster that way.
I've noticed other mods that can mass-delete empty boxes don't quite play nice with the empty boxes stacked up on the workbench with this mod. The boxes get deleted but their 'spot' on the workbench is held. If the player tries to pull from that 'spot', no box gets pulled and bulk boxes start going to the workbench directly. However if you reset, the held spots will be filled again.
It's a really minor thing, but it would be nice if the empty boxes stacked by the workbench could be somehow protected from other mass delete functions. Not sure if that's something you could do or something those other mods would have to accommodate somehow.
This would in theory be easy to do, the issue would be if there are multiple mods that allow mass deletion of boxes (which there are), and how they "find" the empty boxes to delete. I do already pull the boxes from the base games management system while they are stored in the workbench, which means that the base game no longer deals with saving/loading those boxes (I handle it all in the mod). This should in theory cover some of the mass deletion mods, but again just depends on how they "find" the empties to delete.
I will take a look at it and see if I can handle the deletion better, or possible even do checks every few frames to ensure that all the "stored" boxes are actually still stored or not though. This wouldn't keep the boxes from being deleted, but it would free up the storage area if they are deleted.

What are you having issues with?

In any case, great mod! Thanks!
