Hi, first you need to install TSfix_RES as mentioned. Then, you have to put the textures that you did download and extract inside this folder: D:\<your path, change here>\Steam\steamapps\common\Tales of Symphonia\TSfix_RES\inject Finally, everything is ready.
Can't you just copy the files that WORK for the Braless sheena and drag/drop/overwrite the files in his texture folder? Should work in theory. Might not be upscaled 4x though.
UPDATE:
I copied over the files that did not crash my gave and threw them directly into the textures folder, was asked to overwrite files in there, said yes, booted a save where I have Sheena and voila! It works!!
Thank you for your work, the game look pretty well. I just installed the game and TSfix with SKIM64 and I'm a bit confused.
Do I have to install all "DLC" of TSfix or your mode already use or overwright those ?
I also spotted that when we extract your file in "Texture" folder, the DLC in .7z format won't work anymore. So all have to be extracted in the Texture folder either.
I want to enjoy this old game the best way possible. Thanks for your time !
PS : Here is the DLC files I talked about : -CleanFont -UICleanup -Characters -LLoyd
And what about "Upscale4x" ? Your mod overwright it no ?
Q:"Do I have to install all "DLC" of TSfix or your mode already use or overwright those ?" A: Well, i couldn't do tests mixing this mod with "DLC" textures. But i know that the textures available in "DLC" are present and redone in my Mod, so I do not recommend anyone to use both of them in the same time because you'll get conflict.
Q: "And what about "Upscale4x" ? Your mod overwright it no ?" A: My mod overwrites alomst all textures (also in 4x upscale, in a different method) but some places and npcs are missing. To get the best possible textures at the moment, you can try to extract the textures from "Upscale4x", copy and paste the ".dds" files inside my folder, alongside with the other textures. But do not replace them, just paste the missing files.
Nope, doesn't work even with DSR in 2160p. And I remarked something else about this issue. The little portraits appear directly aliased but the Artworks (in status screen) appear normally during like 3 seconds then it become aliased.
Do you remember if theses pictures are together in the same DDS file and separated from other textures, so I could delete this file ? If yes what file it could be ?
Oh, strange because if you look at my pictures they have no AA. So, what is you tsfix.ini config (first section)? i remember that i had to disable AA for it. Here is mine for reference. Q: Do you remember if theses pictures are together in the same DDS file and separated from other textures, so I could delete this file ? If yes what file it could be ? A: No, they're all separated pictures. If you wish to, you can overwrite them using dds files from "DLC" mod.
Unfortunately neither modifying the .INI like you or overwriting the DDS work. Well only the "Upscale4x" work but totally nullify your mod and I don't know what DDS files corresponding to characters artworks.
It's sad because all is alright except the characters pictures.

I have another remark. While your mod make a great job, I have noticed some aliasing on the characters portraits and artworks.
Any clue why do I have that ? Is it the same for you ?
(I sent you the screens on PM).
I'm at 1080p by the way.
