Is it possible to combine this with the "AI upscaled textures" mod? Using all the textures from this mod but then using the other mod for any textures not modified by your mod?
Genuinely one of my favorite "remaster" style mods because there is clear artistic vision and direction behind this beyond just SUPER HD TEXTURES. I adore Tales of Berseria, but boy do I find it hard to look at. Looking at the screenshots for this mod, though, the first one had me audibly say, "Oh my god." Stellar work. Can't wait to try it out!
You're right my goal was to provide something different, personal and which fits the game spirit (anime style). Let me know your impressions after playing with it and do not hesitate to share pics in the images section.

Wow, this actually made my jaw drop. The only thing I don't like are the clouds for some of the images, so I won't be using it regardless but just wanted to say your work is very beautiful and amazing.
Thanks. It's weird because clouds are one of my most prefered content from all these textures! Maybe you should give it a try, clouds fit perfectly the game and my anime style.
Excellent texture pack. Almost all the game looks fantastic now. Easy endorsement.
One issue I found is the grassy texture that is used for the ground in the beginning at Aball and later in other grassy areas like Hexen Island. (It's also used in Aldina Plains, but somehow all the foliage must mitigate the issue?) It's probably the exact pattern, being sharp or spindly. I'm using driver override for anti-aliasing, but it can't handle that texture. The rest of the game looks fine with no jaggies or shimmering, but that texture looks like analog tv static when in motion, the shimmering is so bad. It gives a bad first impression since it is used in the opening village.
The only other thing is that one of Grimoirh's portraits is very tiny in skits, like a small dot in the background. It only ever appeared within the first few skits after you meet her and then one more time in a skit at Meirchio right before the end of the game. No idea if it is an issue that is just in the base game, or introduced by the mod, but I figured I'd report it in case.
I see what you mean about the aliased grass texture and I guess it has to do with the Special K mipmap filter. It can be mitigated by tweaking Special K default parameters. Give it a try in your game.
