About this mod
Allows you to skip the entire intro section that plays when starting a new game, straight into waking up in the Medical deck.
- Permissions and credits
When you start a new game, it takes a few minutes to actually get past the apartment section. This mod allows you to skip past all of this.
This is a huge time saver if you need to test mods that require starting a new game, or if you just do new playthroughs often.
To use it, just hold Escape during the drone cinematic to skip it, and it will place you in Medical instead of the apartment. (It also now takes 0.5 seconds to skip instead of 1.5.)
If for some reason you'd rather remove the wait time for the laptop, that is also available within the zip. These mods don't conflict with each other, so you can have both of them if you want, though it's kinda useless to.
Modifies:
Unzip this and place the .pak file(s) in the folder where System Shock's main .pak file resides:
<installation directory>\System Shock Remake\SystemShock\Content\Paks
