Perfect Mod, kudos my friend, the Aid mod too. I tried to edit the files myself but need Unreal engine to change the content. A simple request then, if there can be a version for Aid Items and Ammo to stack well as high as possible. I love to do a quasi NG+ mode where i give myself the items from previous runs after finishing the game. That would be a dream come true, anyways Thanks again for the great mod.
I'd like to make an exact opposite request to the one below. More found ammo to the paltry pathetic preset amount and more ammo drop but all stacks size stuff are left alone both for gameplay and so there won't be mix ups/errors/f*#@ ups by using another stack mod
I hear you. Might take me a little while as I'm currently having some IRL occupations that prevent me from playing much. As a temporary workaround, you can use the work folder included with the mod. In the work folder, there are two iterations of modifications for each ammo type. One is in the ammo folder, and one is in the ammo pack folder. If you delete everything in the ammo folder, but leave the ammo-pack folder, then the stack sizes will no longer be affected. You can then recompile the mod and use it that way.
As for ammo drops, those have to do with loot tables and I haven't gotten around to messing with those quite yet. I'm going to be back into the game sometime next week, so I'll take on your request then. Sorry for the delay in responses and maintenance.
But could you make a version of the mod that just doubles the amount of ammo, batteries and patches in one stack, without increasing the pre-placed amount? This will free up a little more space in your inventory, and will be more handy.
There is one, in fact. Check out Nixos' collection, amongst others he doubles the stacks for items/weapons without adding the regular amount of ammo you find. I do not want to step on Nixos' toes, and his version of your request works stand-alone too, so I'd have to ask you to use that instead. Here is a link:

I'll still make one if there's demand for it, but yes, it already exists, just as a different mod. In Nixos' mod, the mod is very plug and play, so you can just take the .pak files which increase the stack amounts and use only those. Extremely convenient.
Oh, thank you, i've missed it :) There is some good and needed changes there.
But I also wanted to ask about your mod, is it possible to increase the amount of ammo sold in vending machines? Perhaps some random amount of clips that the player could buy by spending earned credits? I think this would be more appropriate, since ammo shortages are part of the game, and the amount of credits that can be obtained is quite large.
And I have another question. In the game, at least on medium difficulty, upon reaching 0% security on the level, the spawn of enemies completely stops. Because of this, the player can safely run through cleared levels without being afraid of anything, which significantly breaks the atmosphere of tension and thrill.
Is it possible to make a mod that would leave a small spawn of opponents, even after the complete destruction of the cameras and CPU Nodes in the level? Single opponents on medium difficulty, and small groups on hard difficulty? Easy difficulty level, of course without spawning. This should force players to move cautiously, constantly expecting an enemy to be around the corner, and make game a little bit more tense.
Due to the way ammo packs are implemented, my mod does exactly that. All vending machines sell a small ammo pack. And since my mod changes the ammo pack values, the vending machines will now sell the amount of ammo I put in the ammo pack, so 8 shells for the shotgun. The two are linked together because vending machines will always sell the small ammo pack item. Maybe someone can edit the maps themselves, but that won't be me.
As for enemy respawning ... It's not actually linked to the security level at all. There is a pre-set amount of enemy reinforcements which will spawn, and you can completely exhaust them even before reaching 0% security. I for example am a hoarding player, so I tried to play System ReShock like I played in 1994, and quickly realized that mutants are no longer infinite in medical. I play on difficulty 3 across the board too, so I am certain enemies stopped spawning way before I blew up the nodes and cameras (even tried to leave security completely alone, just so I can farm more. No luck)
The only exception to this is level 2 research. It will spawn infinite hoppers and maintenance bots so long as it's not disabled. And since hoppers and maint bots now spawn batteries, scrap and logic probes, research is essentially an infinite ammo depot. Energy weapons are much more convenient in ReShock.
Conversely, you can also speedrun 100% a level, and if you were extremely quick, enemies will continue spawn even when you're on 0% security, until the reinforcement number runs out.
I can try and figure out where the respawn numbers are indicated, but don't hold your breath, it may take a very long while, since I have no idea where to even look.
Same thing for vending machines. Right now, they're scripted to have a small ammo pack item inside them. To make the machines sell more of those, someone would need to write a script to reset the machine after each purchase. I'm not good enough with modding UE4 to do that. It might be possible to adjust the numbers of patches in patch dispensers though.
