Same here, I'm not using bandicam, special k, or a controller. Only thing I can think is because I'm on linux, but those are game files, not extra ones added, which normally requires me to add a special command.
Indeed, you have to override the dll on Linux. Add this to your launch options:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput1_3=n,b" %command% Change xinput1_3 to winhttp if you renamed the dll to get controllers to work. Finished the game without issue with this mod on Linux.
I know some people have managed to make this work in gog so may be someone will see your post and answer. If i ever get the gog version when it's very cheap i'll have a look.
Thank you for this mod! For anyone wanting to use this mod with a controller, just rename xinput1_3.dll to winhttp.dll and then copy to your game folder as per the instructions. Works great!
Unfortunately not, you would think that would be easy right? but i kept getting crash every single freaking time i tried to do that so in the end i had to admit defeat on this one.

I just wanted to report that the bind reminder option cannot be turned off and always remains visible on the screen in the inventory and menus (the size slider is working tho). Not sure if you're able to debug it, but as a workaround, maybe an offset option could be added so we can move the text off-screen? Just my two cents. Thanks again!
Just thought I'd give you some feedback if you ever plan to update the mod. Having the VAPORIZE KEY INSTANT set to Enabled causes random crashes (Auto Vaporize might also be a culprit but I haven't tested that setting). The option to disable rebind reminders is non-functional. Also, it would be great if you could change the name from "FireMode" to "Fire Mode" and set mode to start at "1" instead of "0" and set its default position to the bottom right corner where the weapon view model is (top right position conflicts with UI elements). Other than that, rock solid mod! Endorsed!
Unfortunately it's very hard to debug the crashes for this game, but it might add an extra warning in the tooltip for the auto vaporize feature, and i'll see what i can do for the fire mode setting. Thanks for the feedback.
One more thing, pretty minor, if the HEALTH AS HUD COLOR is Enabled, the chosen color for Critical Health Hud Color replaces the default UI color upon death (main menu headers etc) and only resets back on continue, new game or load.
Thanks again for suggestion, i wonder, if those default would work even for people who use wide or very wide screen resolution (like 32:9).... But i'll give it a try, i'm a bit focus on other projects atm but, hopefully i'll have time to update this mod in the future. Thank you for quick reply, but looks like there is no need for that - for some reason when i swapped file again to look for said log mod started working. Literally did the exact same steps as before, but it works! Now i don't need to weight whether i want heal or extra gun on reachable buttons, thank you!
It looks like you are open to requests, would you kindly add an option to dual bind certain actions? For example, it feels sensible to me to be able to analyze enemy and ADS simultaneously.
Oh, and adding inventory background would make reading much easier.

I found out why your mod didn't work for me - launching bandicam before launching game prevents mod from working. If bandi started after everything works normal.
Thanks for the mod! Little issue I have is that I need to reopen mod menu after every restart or save load in order for mouse wheel bind and/or binds for cycle items to work.

I tried all Win64 Folders in the Third Party Folders.
Nothing works.
I'm using other Inventory Mod now and need much less to recycle anyway. :P

Would it be possible to add keybind to only vaporize stuff that does not(or have 0) recycle cost?

Maybe its because i'm using GOG version?
