Guys, let's help the dev revive this essential mod. Without it, the suppliers are very stupid and don't replenish effectively, leaving incomplete ranks and the amount of sample items almost zero.
What we really need from a mod like this is to redo some of the logic of the re-stockers... For example I wish there was a "efficiency mode" where they would ignore 1, 2, or n number of items missing until it reaches a threshold of a box or a empty shelf.
Also going for high margin items first versus high volume items...
Hi there, first I would like to appreciate that you developed a mod, thx for that :) Is there any planned update? I see last version is 2 months old, people complaining it doesn't work... I would love to implement this kind of logic on my restockers, as they tend to stock half boxes, then I order new products, and... surprise! No room to store them. Thank you!
My restockers doesn't take the less full boxes from shelves, it is as if i'm without the mod. I tried the newest version and then the old one, neither work. It's installed correctly, I double checked. Help me :(
Got this because I am tired of my restockers wasting time trying to restock the same items, but after I installed this all three of them now ONLY restock the same items. It is basically the same as having only one restocker. I'll remove it now but I'm very disappointed as I was really hoping this would work!
I had to remove it from my files, because sometimes 2 or 3 restockers take the same item, and it always happens in version 0.2. Just waiting for the next update.
The mod works great, except sometimes all 4 of my restockers will try to refill 1 single missing unit of toilet paper or potato bag and ignore completely empty shelves(TBF I am not sure if they did this before I got the mod, but I don't remember noticing it before). Would be awesome if there was an option for restockers to prioritize the store shelves with the least amount of product.
EDIT: It does not work great. After longer observation I noticed that at all times 2-3 restockers will attempt to fill up the same shelf, wasting more time than they save. This issue went away as soon as I disabled the mod.
What mods are you using? Are they picking up boxes from the ground or from a rack? Could you send your log file? Someone else created a bug report for this earlier today. I took a quick look and did find a problem, but I'm not sure if that same problem is what's causing this. If you could respond to the bug ticket with this info that would be very helpful.
I've got Better Cashier, EZDelivery, Portable Scanner and BetterCheckout Choice running, I haven't tried disabling any of them to see if there is a problem with that though.
They will pick boxes from rack if available and they do take the boxes with the smallest amount of items, so that seems to be working just fine. There is also no issue with them taking boxes from the ground if there are no boxes left in the rack. The restockers seem to be favoring shelves with the least amount of max product amount on them and restock only those obsessively.
Just saw this post after debating to use this mod or Restocker Consolidator and I noticed that you said you are using EZDelivery. I am unsure about this mod but EZDelivery has given me numerous issues with some mods. Try uninstalling EXD and see if it fixes the issue.
Thanks for suggestion! I got rid of the EZ Delivery mod and unfortunately the restockers are still obsessively stocking the toilet paper/chicken/potatoes. My temporary solution is to keep only 1-2 boxes in storage and just order more throughout the day. It helps if the boxes sit outside, because this mod prevents restockers from going to get it until they can empty all of the box.
Hey, first of all really great work. I went nuts on the Restocker behaviour and this saved me a lot of headache.
One question. Can you maybe add the option to select between restocking strategies?
1. Normal behaviour as done now 2. Would prefer if the restocker would only restock an article when he is able to use a full box. This is obviously not possible if you only have the article in one rack space so it has to be optional. This would boost efficiency of restockers a lot.
I did think about doing this at one point, but I didn't think about the possibility of making it configurable. I'll probably do this in the next minor version (1.3) along with another "strategy" I've been thinking about.

I mostly saw this option on my mobile phone version.

I will try to find and upload the log file too.
