With this mod, any books you want can be loaded into the game by using their ISBN numbers and defining them in the config file.
What's an ISBN Number?
What's an ISBN Number?
- ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. It's a system by which the majority of books released around the world are indexed and identified. Most books will have one printed on their back. You can recognise it by its 13 digits, the first 3 of which are 978 most of the time. Any number of dash (-) characters may be spread out within the number.
- ISBN Numbers are standardised and work for almost any book. Providing ISBN Numbers instead of actual book cover files has the advantage of not infringing copyright. As soon as you launch the game with ISBN Numbers configured, the book covers, as well as information about title and author of the book, are fetched from publicly available information around the internet.
- Assuming your books have ISBN Numbers (without them this will not work, sorry), simply enter each book's ISBN Number into this mod's config file (BepInEx/config/CustomBooks.cfg).
- I am also providing a few premade config files that each contain 12 books belonging to a certain topic.
- Install Tobey's BepInEx x MelonLoader Pack for Supermarket Simulator
- Install TextureReplacer
- Download "CustomBooks" from the Files tab
- Unpack "CustomBooks.dll" into BepInEx/Plugins
