This allows you to Price it for full refund It is not Useless cause in real life you can get the money back for most Items bought by accident and in this game you only got half back so it has its uses for some people especially when one of the mods is currently making it so when you click to buy something it sometimes puts 2 of that item instead of 1 LOL
Well ok then its helpfull, but for that are usual the Shopping Cart so you can check your Stuff bevore buying it. Here we call a Buy who made you lose money "Learning Money", because it teach you to be carefull next time. ;-)
It's not about "look before you buy;" it's about buying a piece of furniture at one point, and then later on you need to upgrade it to a larger one, so you want to sell it, but don't want to lose half the money you paid. I agree that one should know what they're buying, but also, the game isn't the most descriptive on what a particular piece of furniture can hold, or how much space it will take up. For instance, you need a freezer, and you can afford a small one, so you buy it, but you don't realize those can only hold one product, or that it might not fit in what little space you have, which might be useless for what you need, so you want to sell it and wait until you have enough money for a larger one, or until you expand your store, but now you've lost half of what you paid and didn't even use it.
No longer works. The mod loads fine, the config file is created, and you can change the amount you're refunded (on only some of the furniture), but the moment you box up a piece of furniture, it gets dropped on the ground automatically, and you can't pick it up again to sell it. If you close and reload the game with it sitting boxed up on the ground (assuming you saved your game after boxing it up), it will be gone when you load back in, and you've then lost all money for it, rather than the half you would have gotten without this mod. If you've got this mod, and you find that you can't pick up the item you want to sell, just close out of the game completely, either by opening the menu and selecting the option to "Quit to Desktop," or just use [ALT]+[F4]; DO NOT use the "Quit to Menu" option, or it will save your game, and obviously don't manually save it. By doing it this way, you can go in and remove the mod, and then load the game back up to where it last saved. Unfortunately, you will lose some progress, but that's better than losing the money and the furniture you're trying to sell.
As always, it's best practice to save your game before you decide to add any mod to the game, and then save again before you actually try to use a mod in the game. This way, should anything go wrong, you're losing as little progress as possible, if any. Additionally, I would highly advise adding and testing only one mod at a time, just in case the mod breaks the game, or if it conflicts with another mod, then you'll know exactly which mod the culprit is without having to try to figure out which of your 17 mods you just added is causing a problem.
If you're looking for an alternative to the "Refund Furniture" mod, well, there isn't one that I've found. However, if you REALLY want full price back for your furniture, you can download a save game editor from here on Nexus mods, and just give yourself the money back, but the temptation to start outright cheating is there; just use restraint.

If you box Furniture, you can sell them for 50% of the Price by long pressing F.
