    A Sunless Sea Mod Compilation

1) Overview
Sunless Stories is a merge of several big mods to prevent any conflicts between them and smooth the edges to make them work nice together. It currently contains:

Rulers of the Salt Steppes, by Machallan
    “Pactise with London greatest rivals: the New Khanate! Earn favours to get help in your expeditions, buy new items, or unlock a new Ship!”
Ship-Storage, by Dratoran
    “A mod allowing you to store your current ship and buy another one. After that you can switch in London between the ships without buying or selling either one.”
Tales of the Grave-Garden, by Enneagon/Nonagon
    “An enormous expansion pack for Sunless Sea, featuring more ships, more Officers, more stories, and less sun than ever before!”
The Pirate-Poet for Polythreme, by Dratoran
    “New quests in 10 different locations, new officers, multiple choices (act 3 includes 28 different strategies with 5 possible endings) and more.”
Ultima Ratio Regum, by Machallan
    “A balance mod overhauling the weapons existing in the base game, adding 9 new weapons, and making boarding both more profitable and more simply, possible.”

All in all, Sunless Stories adds a grand total of 11 new ships, more than 6 shops, 5 new officers, 2 new ways to use your port reports, 3 new mascots (including the EXCLUSIVE Pony of Cooperation), 15 new ship items, 22 brand new weapons, new titles, new stories, the fate of Polythreme, the option to store your precious ships, to board and ransom your enemies and many other things!
With the publication of this mod, all included mods will also receive an update, sometimes big, sometimes small, fixing bugs, spelling errors (the Pirate-Poet for Polythreme’s text has been thoroughly scrubbed clean!), balancing new items, and even adding the long awaited icons to Rulers of the Salt Steppes!

2) Installation
Do a backup from your save, just in case (go to User/appdata/LocalLow/Failbetter Games/Sunless Sea/saves and copy Autosave.json somewhere if you don't want to switch to merciful mode)

Open the Zipped file, extract the Sunless_Stories folder in User/appdata/LocalLow/Failbetter Games/Sunless Sea/addon

Open the icons folder, and extract the new icons in User/appdata/LocalLow/Failbetter Games/Sunless Sea/images/sn/icons

Simple as that.

Please note that you don’t need to have the separate mods in your addon folder anymore, everything is included in Sunless Stories.

3)”Alright but do you have permission for that? What’s the Sunless Stories team anyway?”
Well, not only do we have permission, we actually are the authors of the compiled mods, working together to bring you the best experience with as little risks of conflicts and save breaks as possible!
But our objective is not limited at making our mods compatible with each other, and we certainly hope to bring you more quality Sunless Sea content in the near future, working as a team to provide the very best and enrich the game even further!
