Welcome! This simple mod will allow you to have new cameos to use during the character creation.

INSTALLATION:
Adding them is pretty easy!
You have to go to: C:\Users---Username here---\AppData\LocalLow\Failbetter Games\Sunless Sea\images\sn\icons
Once this is done all you need to do is execute the game and create a new game to select your new avatars!
After adding new avatars the game needs to recognise and add them so it might take a little bit longer to load,
but it will only be the first time you play the game after adding the cameos.

I've created a small backstory for each of the cameos, but they are not obligatory to follow.

he, like many other kids ended forming a gang to rob and pillage in the attempt of making their miserable lifes slightly better. After an entire childhood of robbing
and smuggling William decided to use all the saved booty to buy a boat and explore the Unterzee in the attempt at gaining enough cash to retire and still have spare
enough to buy the orphanage where he was raised up and save the next generation of children of repeating his life.

Summary: Arthur's family had been always completely ingrained in London's military, be it either the navy, army or other branches. The women were always nurses and the
males destined to raise a weapon against the Queen's enemies. Arthur's upbringing and his mighty physique made him indestructible, his family had managed to stay strong
and continue the lineage for centuries and he was sure that his destiny would follow suit...until London fell and he was forced to fight against Hell. The damage and
defeats he suffered were so terrible and grieving that his entire psyche became fragmented and twisted. Arthur never feared death, and he still doesn't, but he became
afraid of what would happen afterwards. Terrified of returning to Hell after his departure Arthur promised to find a way of making himself immortal, no matter the price.

Summary: Lillian's family had always sought for the truth, regardless of how painful or maddening it was. Insanity was rampant among their family to the point of reaching
infamy among their neighbours, something that never truly bothered the Gates family, for they took this as something to be proud of and even made it their family motto
"Portae ex insania praevaricationem" or in the Queen's language, Breaking the Gates of Madness. Having a family member disappear wasn't a complete rarity among the Gates
family but to them such even was more grievous than a death, when someone died so did their secrets, but when someone disappeared that meant that their secrets were still
able to be recovered and so had to be sought of, no matter the cost. This time Lillian has to go behind his father's steps to discover what he discovered before his death.

Summary: Covered in scars and rostygold piercings the Illite Corsair has suffered in his hard flesh the pain of living in slavery and hatred due to not being a true human, a
true Londonian. He still doesn't harbours any hatred towards the people that hate him, he wishes to make people accept the Clay Men more and knows that he doesn't needs to
convice the rich and the noble, but the lowest common denominator the hard workers and beggars like him. He plans to search the zee in the attempt at creating the Song of
the Zee, a song that will be sung by everybody alike, regardless of their gender or race.

A great nostalgic of sunlight he started smuggling illegal goods and ended ascending up until he was a full time anarchist priest and bomber. He seemed to be on a constant
lucky streak as no matter what he always managed to outsmart, outfight or outrun the Masters and the Constables to the point of having him believed to be blessed by God
with mayor G. His luck ended falling thought, one of his homemade bombs exploded before time and caught him in the blast. Wounded and disoriented he was abandoned by his
followers and left for dead. During his feverish time under the rubble he had visions of a land covered by sunlight, a paradise among the black void. Decided to find it he
survived and clawed his way out of the debris, stole from the anarchists and decided to go onto the Zee.
