IMPORTANT NOTE ON TIER UPGRADE BUGS: Instructions to Fix After upgrading to different house tier, the game may not render the mod correctly and will reset back to the default settings for the house. To get the mod to work again, you will need to do the following:
apply a fresh set of "Basic Walls", "Basic Roof", "Basic Door", and "Basic Windows" to the house
enter the house and exit the house to refresh the appearance
You can either do this buy purchasing new ones from the hardware store, OR, alternatively, you can use the Cheat Enabler mod to add these items to your inventory for free since they are expensive. The commands are:
I can't make these directly compatible for the NV barns because the width/height is different, so some major tweaking would be needed. I did have some NV barn textures uploaded, but I retired them due to a combination of the new update breaking them, and the CustomTextures mod not loading my textures correctly due to it not being able to handle a large load of custom textures. This honestly frustrated me to the point of quitting the game.
But it's funny you mention this, because I DID edit a new set of Dark Elf Nel'Vari textures for the new NV barns... here's a preview (Tier1-Tier3 respectively). If you like them, let me know and I will consider uploading. :) They come in two colors - purple leaves and blue leaves.
It seems that because of 1.2, in which a store for customizing the house appeared, the mod is no longer working - only the fence around the house has changed, the house itself is not at all(
Then I assume all custom textures for houses will not be working at this time. I am currently out of the country so will not have time to look at this until I get back in a few days.
FYI: Finally got around the poking through the files in the new update and this should be working in the the latest version. :) There are some glitches that happen when upgrading to new tiers, but it's fixable by following the instructions on the main page or the sticky!
It's on my to-do list! I have heard that there are some issues with CustomTextures and loading fences and gates properly though, so I will have to look into it. :) Glad you are liking these mods!
