Most issues are resolved by carefully re-reading the installation instructions, but if you have stumbled on a bug, please file a bug report on the Bugs tab with as much information as possible to help us find the cause of the issue so we can get it squashed in an update. Useful information includes examples, screenshots, and steps to reproduce the issue.
Correct, it is still only available for QMM. The intention was to come up with a new, improved system for BepInEx but I've simply not had time, and I'm not terribly interested in porting it as-is to BepInEx.
As such, this mod isn't really recommended for use these days, even on QMM. It was only ever optional, so you can just ignore this mod and still use whichever mods listed it as a requirement.
I'm unsure of what you mean by the "Mod Commands Window." Are you a mod developer or a mod user? As a mod user, you just install it. It only shows up when it detects an update to a mod you have installed. You can check the `qmodmanager_log` file in your game directory to see if its working, logs will be marked with ":VersionChecker". Make sure you have the latest version installed however, there was a known bug with an earlier version of VersionChecker that caused it to stop working when BZ when into 1.0 release.
You should also see an option in the "Mods" tab of the options menu that lets you configure how often VersionChecker checks for updates. If you're not seeing that, then something has gone wrong with your install, and I would recommend heading over to the Subnautica Modding discord server and asking for help in one of the #help-and-support channels, as install issues are common but easily fixed with a quick discord chat.
Hey there. Thank's for the info. I am a 'super new user' just learning how everything work's. In BZ the 'Mod's' show up in the Menu, I just called it 'mod command's window' because it shows all the Mod's. (Just me being a dork.) I just finished the first Subnautica and most of all the mod's I had worked for it. I am having a hearder time in BZ for some reason. It might be because its still a new game.
You need to bear in mind that mods made for SN won't necessarily work for BZ, and make sure you have installed the BZ version of QMM, as they are different! And like I say, you should see entries from VersionChecker in the qmodmanager_log-SubnauticaZero.txt file which you can find in the game directory. If you don't have that log file, then QMM isn't installed properly, and mods won't be working. Ideally, if you have issues, join the discord. It's the easiest place to get help with troubleshooting.
OK, so I looked in the qmodmanager_log-SubnauticaZero.txt and it said I didn't have SMLHelper for BZ. So I downloaded the latest SMLHelper Zero and my game wond load at all now T_T. Poopy, idk what is going on now.
Just want to follow up on this for anyone else reading: user came to the Subnautica Modding discord server and we isolated the problem to being an issue with QMM install. After that was fixed, everything works :)
A breaking change was introduced by the Subnautica: Below Zero devs sometime in the last few months, rendering VersionChecker incapable of checking your mods were up-to-date. I'm really sorry I didn't notice sooner, but I hadn't loaded the game in sometime and nobody reported this to me until very recently.
Config instructions are vague. It would be helpful if you could provide a list of specific strings to enter, either on the description here, or as a comment in the config file itself. Helpful mod though. Keep up the good work!
If you're just installing a mod that supports VersionChecker, all you need to do is install it, and optionally you can change the frequency at which the mod checks for updates via the in-game options menu. No need to edit anything in the config file at all! :)
If you are a mod developer though, the instructions to add VersionChecker support for your mod are on the wiki, which is linked in the description, and just requires you adding either the `Subnautica` or `SubnauticaZero` Nexus mod ID to your mod's mod.json as instructed in that wiki page.
If you're a modder and you're having difficulty understanding it, you can reach out to me on the Subnautica Modding discord server, which is also mentioned in the sticky post above and in the description! Happy modding! :D

I have now released a fix in the latest version, available from the files tab. Sorry for the inconvenience!
