Thanks for this mod! I haven't tested the timed autosave, but the shortcut it adds for quicksaving works perfectly.
Makes a huge difference playing hardcore, as you can't save your progress mid-game by default. Random crashes can ruin any time a lot of progress this way. And the first crash I got truly annoyed me to the point of losing hope of not being able to play hardcore due to the game's instability.

It is fine enough for me losing only 10 to 20 minutes between quicksaves when a crash occurs. The previous situation was constantly playing with fear of losing hours of progress at any moment. It was not an option to play that way lol.

Nice thought but, every time I am in a menu while this mod activates (all the time) it locks me out of my mouse and keyboard movements. Only thing that works is esc to quit, restart from the last save and everything comes back but very annoying.

I don't believe that the settings is in seconds, it seems to be in ticks. The default setting of 900 was saving literally every minute or less, 1200 ticks is 1 minute, so I adjusted, for those seeking help with this, 18000 ticks is 15 minutes. Mind you I  have not yet had the chance to test it at 18000, just a gut feeling. The other autosave mod available on nexus doesn't even work, no autosaves and breaks the save button entirely, RIP. (this one that I'm commenting on does work)

Edit: I take back what I said previously, the mod is just semi broken, so there are no working autosave mods anymore apparently. even set to 18000 it is saving the game every minute. Very intrusive and annoying sadly. Would really appreciate a mod update!

So future generations that stumble upon this mod, here is the state of this project.

Go grab Arillsan's port of the mod if this cobbled together mod isn't working correctly.

?I'm sorry to say I've abandoned this.

I really should have kept tabs on this and updated it to reflect where this project was at.

    So to Recap:
This is not actively being worked on
The source is available on github, Link before.

So take a crack at developing a unity mod, or forking the repository.

Oh sweet, I'll send everyone your way then. seems like it's a better port :D Than my stumbling through C# just because I missed the functionality from Subnautica :D
