To add on to your future plans, it may be worth adding on those two maps you can scan. One is of the Alterra bases, the other of the Spy Penguin usage locations.
Interesting set of images here. Unfortunately, you have a lot of files in here that are not actually what the file extension would have them be. There are 54 confirmed jpeg files, a single WEBP file (which i've enver seen before) and 17 png files that have all been renamed to ".jpg" instead of being reformatted properly. It might be that the game will load them up anyway, but I'd have reformatted them into the file type required instead of just renaming them for maximum compatibility.
Sorry for the late reply. I've been taking a break from Below Zero. That is interesting because on my end all the files are jpgs so, I have no idea how there is a WEBP file either.
WEBP is a file format from Google that's just an image format intended for websites. If you save a file straight from a website, like the Subnautica Wiki, it'll usually be a .webp file.
Why not just pull the images from the game files? It would save disk space. Also, how about automatically randomizing the displayed images in a slideshow?
Thank ya for helping get this mod out to more people. Thought I'd try and start small before I embark upon greater endeavors in regards to Subnautica Modding.
